I tried it out last weekend for first time. I had never even skated on pond ice before. It looked unnatural. It sounded unnatural. My instincts said, "No - stay on solid ground - don't risk your life!" But it was insanely awesome! I can imagine new sports they will play on other planets and extraterrestrial environments. They will be amazing!
