Wow. One of my best early memories is my going-away / birthday party in 1986 Birmingham, Alabama. I was soon turning 5. I hope I have these facts right. In the last 22 years I've used the name "Loony Bird" on a regular basis without ever thinking back what the name was from. I was going on a rant the other day about how every rock band should have a dancer / mascot to get people to dance and hype up the crowd or incite the mosh pit. Amazingly, that's exactly what Mitzi Mozzerela did (ok well she does some backup vocals too). If anyone beats Beau Beau from Avail it's Mitzi.
